NYPD Cops Use Taser On 17-year-old Pregnant Woman As She Screams In Agony
The NYPD is reviewing an incident where Bronx cops Tasered a pregnant 17-year-old girl, officials said.
The woman, identified as Dailene Rosario, screamed in pain Friday as cops with the 47th Precinct shot her with a Taser, a cellphone video posted by WorldstarHipHop.com reveals.
“Get off of me, get off of me!” she yelled as cops in plainclothes and uniform grabbed her.
An officer in plainclothes wearing a New York Jets hat used the stun gun on her. In the video, the wires extending from the Taser into her body are visible.
She fell to the ground as they arrested her and onlookers yelled, “She’s pregnant, she’s pregnant!”
Rosario is 14 weeks pregnant, according to WorldstarHipHop.com.
Rosario was charged with resisting arrest, obstructing governmental administration and disorderly conduct, officials said.
“We are aware of the incident,” an NYPD spokesman said. “It is under internal review.”
Cops were in the building responding to a report of somebody with asthma when they came upon a fight in the hallway between the girl’s ex-boyfriend and another man, a police official said.
The fight was sparked by a video game, according to WorldstarHipHop.com.
