“White B*tch!” – Great-Grandmother Badly Beaten At Atlanta Walmart
Police in Atlanta are looking for a woman who allegedly assaulted an elderly woman after an argument in the Walmart bread aisle. According to 75-year-old Sandra McClung, the attacker demanded for her to move out the way so she could reach for bread.
The suspect later identified as Alexis Venderburg reportedly called McClung “white b*tch”. In response, the old lady who was in a scooter told her to move out the way herself, saying “You’re the b*tch.”
After this exchange, McClung left and was followed by Venderburg. The police report states that Venderburg attacked McClung and punched her repeatedly in the face. The victim says that no one came to her help despite her desperate screams.
When the attacker had fled, Walmart employees brought McClung water and paper towels. Police were later able to identify Venderburg because she had dropped her iPhone in her victim’s scooter basket. Officers unlocked the phone and found the suspect’s contact information. Venderburg is likely facing simple assault and battery charges.
The incident occurred at the Walmart located at 1801 Howell Mill Road. The retail giant’s corporate office released a statement saying, “We’re disappointed a customer would treat another customer with such disrespect. We’ll work with law enforcement as they search for the person responsible and want to wish Ms. McClung a speedy recovery.”
